Packing up our ( @feedingbirds & @davidstorres ) screen printing gear and heading home from the Bootleg Theatre. Had fun with @the24Foundation @centerforwomen Plays Well With Others & the uber active Abel C. (@thugloniuscrunk 6n6challenge) who brought us on.
@feedingbirds & @davidstorres screen printing at the Bootleg Theatre for charity. It’s not too late to come on down!
Hope everyone can make it to this awesome event tonight! We will be printing the images above! Don’t forget to bring a light colored t-shirt!
Tomorrow, all the cool LA kids are passing on Comic-Con, and hitting up our 24 Foundation Benefit Concert at Bootleg Theater. What’s the appeal (beyond music, slam poetry, the charity art auction, and BOOZE), you ask? Well…
Bring your own light colored t-shirt, and our friends, Alex and Dave of Feeding Birds Boutique, will put one of these cool prints on it for a tiny $5 donation to the Foundation!
I hear a bunch of fitness-bloggers are meeting in Marina Del Rey tomorrow for a t-shirt expo, anyway. So what’s say y’all take a quick group jaunt across town and decorate those new shirts a little?
Also, local artist Sunny Phono, who has a big solo gallery show next week, will be selling a few limited edition prints of THE PIECE ABOVE, with all proceeds going to the Foundation.
And I’m particularly excited to announce that the wonderful ladies of the Center for Psychology of Women will be on hand, passing out stickers, hosting an arts and crafts table, and sharing some of the cool projects they do.
Come listen to some great music, say hi, and enjoy the satisfaction of supporting an awesome cause. (Learn more about 24 Foundation, and what they do, HERE)
Hey we’re at the bottom of the post! : ) Don’t forget to bring your own light colored t-shirt! What screen do you guys think we should print with?
